J.P.I.C. PROJECT

The Irish Capuchin Friars decided some years ago to undertake a new project in Ards to concretely express our commitment to Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation. Among other things, ‘The Ards Project’ involved:

• The development of a Visitor Centre

• The building of some small hermitages

• The building of a peace garden

• The promotion of Sunday retreats and pilgrimages

• The development of various programmes based on a spirituality of justice, peace and the integrity of creation.
